Calm Cool and Collected

If fun became our daily life’s M.O., If pure joy turned into status quo, What then would be our aspiration drive To make the world a better place to thrive? If we nest in a cocoon of serene, If grass on either side is ever green, How would we cope with unforeseen extremes When life turns out not to be what it seems? Along the winding road joy may not steer Calm cool and collected - most stable gear. February 14, 2021

Hello Margarita Lillico, I just read this poem. So nice to meet you. We never know where the winding road will lead to calm or destress. Enjoy your day my friend.

Life never promised us a rose garden, "along with the sunshine there's gotta be a little rain sometimes." Your words are true, Maggie, we must accept what life deals us and learn from out experiences. Nicely stated my friend. Hugs.
