Butterfly Kisses
There was not a cloud up in the sky
On that sunny summer day
When some pretty painted butterflies
Decided to come out and play
As they fluttered to and fro
Playing games of touch and go
Delighted as they gleefully spent
A summer day so heaven sent
They sang softly to the blushing rose
As its fragrance it imposed
And as a gentle breeze blew
The scent of its perfume grew
They gave each petal a tender kiss
Making sure that none were missed
They just could not resist
The seduction of that summer tryst
