Brought To the Light 2

Cicadas burst forth into song. Why did they not decompose seventeen years underground? How much knowledge, right or wrong, does God choose not to disclose? God’s servant, Job finally found... When life's negatives develop, it is Truth which they expose.

How much is not known? As Shakespeare wrote in "Hamlet," "There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy..." A thought-provoking write, Reason! Best wishes in the contest, Carolyn

It is the last part of the book (about chapter 38 and on) where Job wants a conversation with God and God starts asking questions like "Where were you when I created the earth?" He goes through about 70 such questions ending with Job putting his hand over his mouth and agreeing,, "I really don't know very much." Thank you for the honor of a 3rd place. I'm pleased.

Combining Maureen’s recent emphasis on cicadas and a bible study of Job. The book is not so much about suffering but rather the sovereignty of God. Appreciate the read and great remark
