BROKEN HEART WEEPS
barren my soul . . .
ragged, jagged and tattered my heart;
only memories are left all else has been stole,
keeping your spirit will be my forever- 'till I too, depart.
each day is hard . . .
nothing eases my ever pain;
how can I go on like this with my heart so scarred,
each day I visit your tomb- grief is my forever, ever chain.
at you cold stone . . .
remembering your handsome smile;
two lovers happy with their life- now you are bone,
weeping, I recall that walk with father- to you down a church aisle.
eager, you see . . .
each day this baby looks like you;
people will say, tell your boy with ever sweet glee,
soldiers are true hero's - today I brought your boy dressed in bright blue.
