You wrapped your arms around me, hugged me oh so tight Kissed my lips so tenderly – I did not try to put up a fight Told me that you loved me – oh how my heart did lift I was the only one for you, oh such a cherished gift The breath of love flowed from you; I was filled with joy Such divine words any mother can hear from her little boy 02~07~15 Contest: Breath of Love – Gail Angel Doyle

Even the father can hear such divine words, for I always feel them when I go home hugged by my small ones! How I like this poem!

This is beautiful jan. It is one of the best poems you have written I think. I can see your memories in your words. Something so special the bond between a mother and child. Thank you for sharing this with us dear Jan, I am sure many will empathise with your loving words. I have put it in my favourites and it will be much read. With love and thanks Shane xxx
