Break the Mirror
The purpose of life for eons has been
the quest of mankind since Adam and Eve.
We ask ourselves when did all life begin
and in whom or what we can believe.
For some, it seems the answers all arrive
along life’s path. They barely need to try.
Many find religion while others strive
with less ease to understand how or why
we’re even living! The answer lies I think
deep in the soul. We’re born to learn kindness.
Our time in this world is but a blink.
So open your eyes; don’t live in blindness.
Your essence yearns for all that it can be.
Break the mirror; only then you will see.
