Brainstorm Whirlwind
I remember my teenage years
How at the whim of outside forces
My heart would feel tormented
Naïve and surrendering control
I saw myself as a mere puppet
I was significantly older when
Eventually I realized where dwelled
Empowering thoughts and how
It was a matter of brainstorming
To stir up their exponential magic
A whirlwind of options opening up to
A new day a new me a new world
