Blessed I do not take for granted I wouldn’t even dare Your love and your devotion Oh yes, I am aware Of the fact that they remain the same Or better said, they keep growing Into something deeper, stronger too The evidence is showing I can’t ignore the impact of Your affection on my essence Watch how I blossom, this all due To being in your presence An honor, that is what it is An advantage and a gift It wasn’t until I was blessed That I could feel a shift All doubts and fears have disappeared I stare life in the face Even loneliness and sadness Have vanished in a haze I want to recognize all this Yes, all of it I treasure I’m fortunate, I must admit I’m grateful beyond measure What better way to recompense For a love that’s so divine?
