Sweet and succulent upon the trailing vine,
On an impulse I picked luscious blackberries,
In the gold of summer, under the ivory clouds,
Blue petals were falling, autumn approaching,
And my lips were stained like twilight night,
In high summer hours, awaiting apricot flowers!
In the lazy days, somewhat opposed to change,
Fragrances drifted, both familiar and strange.
I went for a short walk, but ended miles away,
Listening to so many things nature had to say.
Visions of jam as red robin sang on his swing,
Purple flowers hula danced on a path of bliss!
