Haibun
Japanese form, pioneered by the poet Basho, and comprising a section of prose followed by haiku. The prose and haiku should work together to create an organic whole.

At this point in my life, I'm seeking meaning to my existence; and as a man of conscience and heart, with a doubting Thomas attitude toward miracles, faith oft leads to internal conflicts, questioning the morality of blind faith, still, to be fair to myself and others, I have hope, for though I do not know the answer to the question, "what lies beyond death?", I do know, my heart wants to believe it is God.
death is not the end life can be resurrected Jesus is my proof (Haibun) 07/16/2020
