Hi Jo, this is a most excellent write. The one surety in life is that Death ever awaits. One day he shall sing his lament for each of us. I loved the content of this piece. This is so creative and I wish you all the best in the contest with this amazing write. Have a wonderful Sunday. Hugs....Mike. XX. A fave.

Oh, Jo, there is no cure when death approaches with that sickle. No one is spared this fate and even in our happiest moments, death still waits. Have you ever read Emily Dickinson's rather light-hearted perspective on death in "Because I Could Not Stop for Death"? Your beautifully composed poem sums up the thorns and pain we encounter on life's journey so well! Best wishes in Dear heart's contest. Carolyn
