Being An Adult - For Adult Contest
When I was a child,
I thought cartoons would
become no more in my entertainment
list. “You’ll look too innocent,”
I always told myself.
In my young mind,
I thought being a grown up
involved only investing, reading newspapers, and raising
a family. “Life as an adult is too serious,”
I always told myself.
Today, everything is different
from how I imagined it two decades ago.
I finally realized that cartoons, fantasies,
and innocence is part of adulthood.
“Enjoying simple things in life is part
of adulthood,” I tell myself today.
