Beautiful Girl
My beautiful girl fears she will lose more,
dancing and prancing ‘til dawn’s early light-
‘Round and ‘round with someone new to adore,
she struggles yet never gives up the fight.
Wearing a smile with a frown on her heart,
always needing more than what I can give-
She’s the wonder holding up the fresh sky,
stronger than she knows, ready to forgive.
Laughing that laugh when she’s about to cry…
it’s her beauty that makes her fall apart.
