Beautiful Flight

I would like to fly, feel the wind with my wings Release pain, shed feathers, to fall lightly to the ground Kiss the clouds floating by and hug the large ones like pillows Look below at the colorful land and water all around I would like to fly without a final destination in mind, Other than a visit to you and others, along my way While still being able to circle back and return home safely Then, gliding effortlessly to my landing in my safe place With the air and lightness of the sky on my shoulders Until my next beautiful flight Heidi Sands 9/21/21
