"Your love of autumn spans your poetry;
for where you dwelled, this season could not be.
-by Poet
Your love of autumn joy still sings;
burnt orange, reds with golden glows.
Within your poems, tribute flows.
Though storms arrived with painful stings-
two deaths brought winter to your heart.
In time, new life you had to start.
Your courage grew- then worry springs
aft you renewed with life and friends-
but much too soon- spring promise ends.
In death, you rose with angel wings;
at autumn's threshold- met and kissed
the ones you lost- so dearly missed.
There, your forever-autumn clings
in Heaven's glory, with your kin;
God grants this gift and leads you in.
Your love of autumn joy still sings;
Though storms arrived with painful stings-
Your courage grew- then worry springs.
In death, you rose with angel wings.
There, your forever-autumn clings.
