As I Lay On My Pillow
I sigh as I lay on my pillow, to allow my thoughts to fly
In dreamed flight my minds external, looking down my eyes tell me why
I still see an orb of beauty, mesmerised I'll always be
It's the events that take me to the above, us fortunate to have seen
Her clarity is not just the same, as I peer through chemical clouds
It's her weather that shows her anger, erupted, so aloud
For my eyes now venture so deep, I can see her hurting terrain
Scarred, torn and twisted, she'll never be the same
Blown, blasted, and mined, devastation she's torn from her seams
The deeper I go to her internal, her nightmare enters my dreams
