And Then It Happened
AND THEN IT HAPPENED . . . .
I remember being outside the building.
I had good intentions for being there.
I left my horse tied to a dumpster in the alley.
There were so many decisions to make, so much to consider.
My future hung in the balance and my fears were greater than I anticipated.
I crept stealthily into the lobby, took the elevator to the tenth floor.
And then it happened . . . .
