Soft scents of frangipani invade my nostrils in the twilight air, pellucid thoughts from deep within made me aware of my senses. I look over yonder and notice lovely ripples in the lake. Luscious blueberries catch my attention and my mouth waters, next I hear the beautiful sound of mockingbirds singing . I felt like my feet were standing in a place of history and strength, as I embarked on ancestral trails of my people's past. At once pride and appreciation began to infuse my entire being.
