After Thought

I'm an after thought Not your first thought or even second. You want to talk I get passed by. You need to cry I get passed by. I'm your after thought, scroll through your face page right past my name. email your friends not even a text. No time to share, I'm your afterthought. My name on your list but do I exist, I am in your phone, in your ear, I'm there right here but, I'm your afterthought. No place for me no time indeed, get caught up with your life no time to see me. I wait to see if you remember but, once again I'm just an afterthought.
