This is an ode about Canada. It is made up of 10 provinces and 3 territories (line 1). The Maple leaf is the Canadian symbol featured prominently in the National flag (line 2). Alert is the northern most permanently inhabitated place in the world (line 4). Quebec city is the only city North of Mexico which still has fortified walls known as the Fortification of Quebec (line ). Canada owns 10% of the world’s Forest cover (line 7) and its rich in zinc, nickel and Gold-mineral resources in general (line 8). Canada shares the longest land border in the world with the U.S.A (line 9). Seymour Narrows in British Columbia has the strongest tidal currents ever measured with flood speeds of 17km/h and ebb speeds of 18km/h (line 11). Prostitution is legal, but buying of its services is not (line 12). It is the 2nd largest Nation by total area in the world (line 13) and Ottawa is its capital city (line 15). French and English are its official languages (line 16) and it consumes more Macaroni and Cheese than any other in the world (line 18).
