Advice To My Younger Self

"advice to my younger self" as I sit and ponder on the reflections of my life I wonder what advice would I give to my younger self the concept of regrets I have one and only one which for me is I haven't lived my own existence I wonder if I were rich or poor would I live the same how would I dress as a star or would I look as I do would my career path change or would my interests remain around and around the answer sustains the same "yes" looking back through the eyes of when life was set on fire stressing the concept of a dollar does not prove success for money will make one a poor man if it isn't protected being a poor man will cast and shadow darkened clouds the question now seems clear of advice to my younger self it remains true in every way to live my life for only me as I speak to the girl of yesterday I would say "always lead" for the only advice would be walk tall be strong and free SkyWatcher - 03-30-17

Lisa, great that your poem speaks of only ONE REGRET. I assume you work with children ... either way, whoever you work with is blessed by your sensitive, non-materialistic approach that values people for who they ARE. thanks for all of this because we/I do God's calling on my life when I practice INTROSPECTION & luv Him first ... Hello Anil. You are quite the humanitarian. Thank you ever so much. Yes, I did work with children a few years back. They need protection because there are some parents who don't. So sad. I will see you soon on your page and thank you once again.

Beautiful thoughts Lisa, but for me personally, I think that everything in my past was meant to be, even the mistakes to bring me to this point that I am in NOW. A thought provoking poem, and so well written A7+

Good Morning Maria. Thank you so much. I also believe everything is meant to be and is for a reason. True. I would be the same live the same. I just wish to live the life for myself and not live the life of others and have my life first. I'm pleased this entry gave thought. Have a wonderful morning and day and thank you again.

Interesting question, Lisa. I think I would have explored a little more of the world and definitely started learning the piano earlier in life :)

If only...if only we had a time machine that allowed us to sneak back and give our younger selves some advice. But knowing me, I wouldn't listen to myself anyway. In my teens I knew everything, so who would I be to tell myself anything? :) Just kidding, a really nice introspective poem Lisa. And perhaps some great advice for all of the young Lisa's out there who might read this.

Seems to me that you are deep in thought this morning, Lisa! Reflecting hey! I've always thought that youth is wasted on the young, ha. Lovely advice by the way. An easy 7/7.

Top of the afternoon to you White Wolf. Yes, you could say that. I was just reflecting a little. I hope somehow my words make sense. Thank you as always for all your support and generosity. Have a great afternoon.
