A Windy Night To Teach the Trees
The wind of the woodlands ignite.
Explosive with utter delight.
She came up unexpectedly.
Wildly and so completely free.
Obscuring all of the daylight.
Shadowing the trees with twilight.
Silent through the ebony night.
Many fell down upon their knees.
A windy night to teach all trees.
In the morning we were all right.
Yes, some had shown a bit of fright.
Uprooting friends who could not flee.
Yet this was not the death of me.
A gloriously stormy sight.
A windy night to teach the trees.
