Thanks Su for the comment on cling, I really like that verse and it didn't get much of a read, lots of the ones I like don't. I so appreciate someone whose work I admire saying what you did. Light & Love [not sure the link between the first 2 lines &3?]

I love this haiku. I am always moved to see a twisted tree. Its image speaks of survival against all odds. So happy you paid a visit. Hope to see you here as often as possible.

:-) Yes, if it is the only shade to be had for miles around when the sun is beating down, we do not care much whether it is aesthetically pleasing or not....
