A Tear Falls

The words I have written in silence From my window I peer beyond Adorn her with soft petals as she lies in silent sleep Upon the threshold of beauty I whisper in disbelief Where watercolors drip in song through light of coming day Where yesterday sweet yesterday Memories drift away I fall beside soft words of love A headstone of mortal dream Where high above song birds sing upon the dieing breeze
