A Simple Girl

A simple girl She looks like vanilla ice cream Her lips are cotton candy sweet And the dust turns to sugar When it touches her feet Her eyes are as green as the ocean And her smile has change this man’s world Her beauty’s so full of passion And yet she says she’s a simple girl They say the birds comes close To hear her voice when she’s talking And the sun follows her everywhere When she’s out walking Just one look at her And my heart been stole She, s an angel sends down from heaven And still she says she’s a simple girl Some say she’s the modern Florence Nightingale of yesterday Her patients swear that she is Treats them with so much kindness they say Sometimes she at night Wear a fleece when she’s cold Talk to her friend when he is down And still she thinks she’s a simple girl If they miss everything wonderful And all that is sweet And all the stars from the heavens She Got it all at her feet And she is so kind to me Got a heart of gold She has my whole life in her hands And still she says she’s a simple girl She cares so much for everyone That her heart got so weak She has to do something in the days ahead I’m so worried I cannot speak And how I love her so She is my heart and soul She is everything to me And still she says she’s a simple girl
