A Simple Change For a Better World
Come join me in a worthwhile endeavor--
No binding contracts to sign, whatsoever,
No join-up fees, no recurring monthly dues,
No discovering later it was all a big ruse.
We all must agree to make one simple change
That should not seem, at all, very strange--
It will make our lives a hundred percent better
If we follow through right down to the letter.
Vowing today not to let prejudice and bigotry
Cause us to treat any human being differently,
For all of us are equal and loved in God’s eyes
Our world will be a better place if everyone tries
To live by the Golden Rule and treat everyone
As we would like to be treated, and then be done
Once-and-for-all with hatred, bias, and mistrust
We can make our world better—we must!
