We've made it a point to see a ton of these for more than 50 years...it never gets old!
Drifting down through crimson clouds in scarlet skies, she sinks,
Stirring through the azure blue - her lavenders - and pinks.
This blazing orange spheroid paints an iridescent sky,
A floating spectrum - melding celestial beauty and the eye.
Her fiery flames ignite the very soul of all who see,
‘Til -- lost beyond relentless swells -- she seems beneath the sea.
And FYI: I'll be posting a bunch of my AUDIO files over the next few months, most from my 4 new AUDIO-CDs, along with many more text files from my several books of verse. (Only a few CDs and books left - 2-9-21).
Because, as with most poets, it simply depends on the mood I’m in at writing time, my verse, as you’ll discover, varies greatly from lightheartedly comical pieces to meaningfully poignant works. Cheers,
Mark Stellinga
