A New Chance
Her heart broke many years ago
When life seemed to no longer flow
Her unique love, came to an end
Leaving only time for healing to mend
To find a way to trust once more
She went gallivanting shore to shore
Acting in such precarious ways
Riding with the wind through the days
Until the sun did shine on a new chance
Rendezvous at just one glance
She would acquiesce with a slight smile
He was nonchalant for quite a while
But he had finesse with a genuine heart
He was consistent from the very start
Then, her heart blossomed again so free
As they discovered a sweet union of ecstasy
Their roads of life traveled were meant to be
With an unstoppable love, through eternity
