A Mother's True Love

Love comes in many shapes, sizes and thoughts,
the love of flowers, things, our best pets.
Love may come as that special gift,
the one gift I have wanted or may have been waiting for.
Love is given and received freely by some,
yet required by others.
Love by a Mother cannot be measured,
it is always free flowing.
Love gives up a loved child,
a child that needs to be cared for.
A Mother's True Love knows what is best for her new baby,
love is a kiss to a baby that is never forgotten.

Paula this poem reminds me an old testament story in the Bible where women are fighting over who should have the baby - the Pharaoh listens to them and says OK I will cut the baby in half and and give a half to each of you - the one woman said yes, go ahead, but the other woman burst into tears and knelt down and pleaded with the Pharaoh not to hurt the baby , where upon he gave the baby to the 2nd woman who was crying bitterly, she was the babies mother. Great poem Paul Good luck. H & B Jen.
