A Morning Prayer
A Morning Prayer

Lord, reveal to us those who really care,
As we wring our hands during this hour.
We flounder daily while in deep despair,
Things can’t improve without your power.
Change won’t be until we call upon you,
Man’s hearts are set and filled with hate.
We bombard others saying things untrue,
Make the corrupt path we walk straight.
Many go through life giving little thought,
At what occurred at the cross that day.
By your death our salvation was bought,
You provided for mankind a better way.
Amen
