I was inspired to write this by several soupers. I hope that you all like. I sure had fun writing it .Enjoy:-) Alexis
Once upon a time in a far away land lived a beautiful maiden the fairest in the land. An evil and jealous witch casted a spell on her that put her in a deep sleep. One kiss from her true love was the only thing that would break the spell. Two long years went by before she was awakened by her lover's kiss. She was so happy until....... she saw her one and only " You, Where is the witch? I want to go back to sleep now"! She was livid because he was the boy next door that got on her last nerves. And she couldn't stand him. And they lived unhappily ever after . The End 12-5-16 Alexis Y

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry. Sounds like many marriages. :)

Hi Paloma, It's nice to see you. I haven't seen you around lately. I rewrote the classic tale to give it a humorous twist at the end. But I can see why you feel like that. I appreciate your thoughtful comment:-) Alexis

Real funny poem, Alexis. An anti-fairy tale, unhappily-ever-after ending. Very creative, and super hilarious. You sharpened your pen on this one. Loved it though.
