The love I give to you
A promise
Written across my thoughts
Are traces of music
Songs caressing the soul
With inspirations
Pure gold
Laughter lingers here
Among the poetry
And prose
The feelings, penetrating
Erasing all fear
Arrange your heart, dear love
So that you can feel the warmth
That melts away all that was
Before there was us
Play among the roses, kissing
Without touching the thorns
That remind you of the past
When we were just a dream
That colored souls in prayer
Remember your inspiration
Feel your imagination
Touching the heart, the soul
With feeling that surely glows
In stardust caresses
And hues of gentle messages
Radiating the faith
Which pleads amazing grace
WE have what it takes
To face the fears and tears
And come through all the years
With assurance that we have
Been given a blessed bond
Filled with light and love
We have a connection
To each other
Based on love and hope
Found inside a heart who knows
Love flows down from above
On a song we’re undeserving of
