A Love Poem

My heart unravels in your hands You feel it beat with no demands No judgement, no guilt Gently my soul is spilt You drink me in so hungrily You feel our love so fervently I awaken to a blinding sun Its rays touched by everyone You have given me back my mirth You toss me on your wanted earth In those blue eyes A lifetime of sighs In your arms A warmth that never dies And suddenly, in the throes of night You rely on my sun-blotched light You remember that we learn to live In a purposeful will to trust and give If I am to find purpose on your lips, I will quiet your fears on my fingertips For the dawn of trials will threaten your stride Together we shall blend and abide Oceans of truth will guide us As we leave the past behind us June 20, 2017 ** I know, I know... GREAT title ;)

This sounds like true love. A very beautiful poem and it'd be nice if everyone had this feeling.

You prophecy with a sensuous sense of hope in this poem, on this tide of your warming heart Poetess, it's very beautiful. "If I am to find purpose on your lips, I will quiet your fears on my fingertips..." romantic revelry in the reach to be understood by the only one who could possibly understand you...J.A.B.
