Hi Christopher I’ve seen both sides of this coin, and on balance there is no winner, my father died young and fast my mother old and slow, both effected me very differently, I grieved after my dads death and before my mothers, death is unforgiving and bleak no matter what way it happens, cheers David

Yeah I don’t get that one myself unless they don’t actually like their Father very much or somehow blame him on the way he treated the mother when she was alive,

Yeah death of a loved 1 is bad either way. Funny people and the things they find appropriate to say like being told losing a father is not as difficult as loosing a mother by someone who mother had died but father was still alive and well
