A Comparison
Each day of my life as I try to compare
myself to Christ, but see little likeness there.
The Bible tells me that no man is good
but be more like Christ I pray that I could.
I'll keep His commandments and pray all my days
but compare with Him I'll be lacking always.
Though I strive to be like Him I know I never can
for He was made perfect, I was made just a man.
We should always be wary of comparing ourselves to another
But rather let Jesus be the standard by which we judge ourselves.
