"a Christmas Card!"

Unwrapping this lovely box of once colourful and bright?! So meticulously adorned; sculpted, throughout the ages of time Only to find, hollow and empty, its promising dreams inside.... The grand fiasco of fantasias moments presented This self-fulfilling delusion, standing before their eyes!? Looking for love in all the wrong places; hopeless brides These ribbons and bows dipped in, tomorrows, crimsons ties Goddesses and gods, running out of tinsels glittering tides.... Genus trees; and all, was not what it seemed?! To bleed these tears; the final chapters greatest of regrets When one finds, the light beyond the mirage; a verse realized No Santas; no reindeers; no toys and no smiles; just, goodbyes Love, as empty as the ocean now; this box, once so bright!? Eternals gift, of hate, doubt and spite; the wrappings of Such falling.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "A Christmas Card" ~ Note: Smile ~ "Its 'A Beautiful Day'" ~ "'Love,' Always," John!:) ~

Interesting work..We do sometimes look for love in all the wrong places as do we look for fulfilment where we can never reach the full mark...Your testimony left on my work reaches out to others...Sara

All the trials and disappointments are only leading you to where He wants you to be...I'm glad you expressed this, Rest assured, people who care will help, at least with little words to comfort you, same as you do. All will be well, John. Wishing you all the desires of your heart today and all during this holy season of Christmas. Peace and love always, your friend, Audrey

My friend, I'm sad that you're sad..and life at times does seem empty and you doubt and wonder what's going on. You know this already.. life can be so damn hard! That The Father will never deny the son anything are his very words. Keep hoping and praying each step of the way, as he carried that cross each painful step of the way. Cont'd

A sad but thought-provoking Christmas Card, John. All is not what it seems; we need only ask the hopeless brides and disappointed children. The empty feelins in this poem are very moving. Love and best wishes for holiday blessings, Carolyn
