A Beautiful Mind
A BEAUTIFUL MIND
As; Mo contemplated the mathematics of her shopping list
Uncontrolled thoughts; from her mind continued to persist
In-between the words of; uncut loaf and navel cotton buds
Were written the words; on the life of the demented spuds
Who apparently; were all ears; to her most lyrical thoughts
On the bestest way to cook a spud and smother it in sauce
To her list were added; butter, milk and it had to be cheese
The spuds more got demented at the thought of her tease
As was their ecstasy of sharing the plate with some shallots
Were almost in Mo’s bag; before she even got to the shops
Never had such fanciful words pleasured; a demented spud
Who in preparation was getting washed from the thus mud
By the time Mo got to finishing writing her full shopping list
The demented spuds to Mo’s beautiful mind, couldn’t resist
