The Greatest Country I Once Knew

Worry is a state of mind and also a state of distrust, It shows you are trying to run the show instead of believing that our God is still just. We put ourselves in a panic frenzy, while the problem still lingers there, Instead of trusting in the Lord above, who is the one person who really cares. The bad thing is we all are as guilty as sin, Because we’ve closed our doors instead of inviting our Savior in. Look at the mess our country is in now, If we would all turn back to God, don’t you know He would show us how? This country was founded on the principles God set forth for all mankind, But we’ve strayed from those values and that is why we are starting to fall behind. This country has become another Sodom and Gomorrah, evil and vile, God, common sense, and good morals seemed to have all gone out of style. We are allowing our children to be punished for wanting to pray at school, While one time in this country praying was considered good manners and following the Golden Rule. The ACLU should be run out of every city and town, Run them across the bridge and then burn that bridge down. We need to start demanding our sovereign rights be returned fully intact, And to leave the Constitution alone and let us get back on the right tract. Should our elected leaders fail to uphold the oath that they have sworn upon, Then let their justice be swift and the wrath fully shown. They should be held more accountable for their deeds than anyone, Leading a great country should be an honor and not taken in fun. Right now this is still our country and I still have my say, But the way things are going I may not be welcome to stay.
