Shadows At Night
Night Shadow
Twilight almost faded in western sky
Sun was down snatching my shabby shadow
Starry sky brought Moon dim sad crescendo.
Full moon expected next to tomorrow.
Moon light put my depressed shadow to lie.
I sat on solitary bank of stream
Little brittle ripples danced, not to cease.
Speed of whimsy wind started to increase
My cluster of hairs rustling in strong breeze
I glanced second shadow as if in dream.
Second shadow mad me too curious
Hazy smog prevailed and mystic mist dripped
Startled thrilled with touch on my lips, that slipped.
Through torn cumulus clouds maroon Moon peeped.
Both shadows running simultaneous.
Being scared alert, I stood up but found none
My sweet heart, my love was supposed to come
He must had hidden himself behind Palm
Quickly I moved fast to find my handsome
Pair of ghostly shadows started to run.
He himself didn’t come but had sent shadow
Moon was behind, two shadows were moving ahead
I was relieved and felt safe being guarded
Both shadows made for each other in parade.
I got two shadows as fellows to follow.
