My Busted Car

MY BUSTED CAR Rusted car and beloved car of mine, Ugly scars shown, seem to me fine. So many years you have given service, Thanks for everything, you are just nice. Ever loving car: how can I abandon? Dear my car, you are still my passion. Angel to me you appeared since bought. Never I got ticket even if I was caught. Driving you with my wife, I never fought. Busted car, blessed car, beautiful car of mine, Urgent needs you met since I was twenty- nine. Stepping to forty I cannot leave you forever. Torn seats, broken wheels, tight steering I will repair, Ever- loving car: Neither I can dump nor sell, Dear my car, you are still charm and lovable. 06/13/16 Late June Standard Contest by Brian Strand Second Place
