Frightening Aokigahara Woods of Japan
Japan’s Frightening Aokigahara Woods
By Elton Camp
Mt. Fuji is an extraordinarily beautiful place
But not so the horrid, scary forest at its base
Government signs are now arranged in an array
Life is precious, think one more time they say
Aokiahara Woods is a notorious place for suicide
On average, seventy-five person a year have died
Japanese consider it to be the perfect place
The self-induced end of their lives to face
Every few days yet another life ends in there
To visit to these woods, you might not care
For a horrible sight you have reason to fear
Undiscovered bodies are often found in here
The superstitious claim that ghosts abound
Whispers are heard and apparitions found
If, into this creepy forest you venture about
It is very possible that you may not come out
