Botox Brigade

BOTOX BRIGADE Oh so numb, I can’t stop myself drooling, Can’t feel my brows, touch them, one is drooping, My lips I feel are massively huge and swollen, I should have realized that this was a bad omen. My cheeks are sore, injected frequently, Obsessed by the media talk increasingly, I dare not put lipstick on, for I’ll look like a clown, I stare at the mirror in horror, I have no frown. For boobs I requested a size thirty six Simply wanted to be one of the chicks, But the surgeon had extra silicone, Even the so famous Dolly I outshone! A nip and a tuck were done on my tummy, Which I inherited after becoming a mummy, And after the final touch of a firmer bum I looked like new, a different me I had become. I knew I was in fact addicted, This was to me often predicted, Developed scars, no recognizable features, Too late, now one of many Botox cheaters. AFTER HAVING SEEN A DOUMENTARTY ABOUT OBSESSIVE PLASTIC SURGERY

Jennifer If you could only see the girls when they go out over here. A sad awakening is about to dawn on these poor souls in 10 years time. If they dare see there reflection in the mirror

Yes, I watch a program on TV sometimes about people coming in to get cosmetic surgery and for some it is a legitimate need because of an accident, an inherited deformity or something else and some they just get addicted to having the surgery. I enjoyed reading this one. Your visits to my page were encouraging. Sara

The thing is, most people look better before they have it! What a nightmarish addiction. Well penned.

Hi Jennifer, The thing about plastic surgery is, once you start you can’t stop. You will always see something else that needs to be done. The end result is a stranger staring back at you in the mirror. Well done:-) Alexis

Nicely done parody. Yes, things can sure get out of hand. It kills me these 20 to 30 year olds wanting surgeries ALREADY. I admit to one that was VERY helpful to me. The tummy tuck took care of a pot belly that 500 situps a day could not correct (since my muscles were stretched out from childbearing). Sometimes these sugeries can be very useful. (I lost only half a pound but that surgery I'll never regret because it made my tummy finally go flat!) Now I just want a lower face lift!!!

Hello Jennifer ... I can't help thinking that botox leaves one looking like a porcelain doll. Just let nature take it's course - nicely written Jennifer - Lindsay

Wonderful wit Jennifer you certainly troweled it on, couldn’t resist that one, I can understand people getting unsightly growths removed, but implants and trout pouts seem all the fashion nowadays, even blokes getting pec enhancements, very funny but sadly true poem, cheers David

Maybe because of my fear of needles I will probably never get botox! Your poem is an articulate message on the dangers of being addicted to the rush of plastic surgery, but then when it dies down you look for something else that needs 'fixing' - I think Michael Jackson had the same issue -

Plastic surgery can be disastrous. Things can go wrong easily. Hugs.

- Never do this ... I do not understand what they're thinking ... forever young ... a lot of this is really ugly ... lips like a duck ... tits tipping out of the blouse ... a face stiff as a mask ... o.m.g. ... - Natural aging is beauty, my friend Jenny :) - Have a wonderful weekend :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

The lengths people go to to have these enhancements done, many go abroad to get it done cheap and when they come back to the uk they have to go into hospitals to have the botched jobs corrected, many left with ugly scars. Hope you're well Tom
