ultramarine unfathomable sky, with a hue of gorgeous crimson,  just a hint of dazzling mystifying dot in the east,  then it grows larger, enveloping the ruby-red horizon,  a panorama of stars still blinking…in a kaleidoscopic canvas,  sky studded with millions still glistening,  strangely a silvery moon, refuses to disappear, although her omnipotent contender is about to rise. a few white pristine clouds floating carefree,  bringing tangerine dreams from yonder hills.  the cooing melody of birds serenade me away to a forest afar,  the symphony of chimes soar from a Buddhist temple on the seaside,  sapphire waves on the tranquil beach rolling away, from me, as I rest mesmerized weaving a tapestry of dreams.  August 2, 2021 For Imagism Poetry Contest Sponsor: Emile Pinet
