Dusk feels suffocating Moon shadows From flowering to dust A race against death No bluebells on meadow The stars are resting and angels smiling   A journey through darkness Where are the fireflies with their yellow hands One last deep breath The cold does not hide the truth Wordless at the grave ... Wing beat of a bird breaks the silence 19.02.2017 Sun :) - A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

A fast richness spreads over all here, Anne-Lise. Dusk, moon, dust, death, bluebells, meadow, stars. Cosmic!

Great poetic imagery and the feelings are well conveyed, Anne Lise. May I suggest that you change "where is the fireflies..." to "where are the fireflies..."? Just a grammatical suggestion...peace :)

WoW! There is such a finality here. I like a poem with a message and this has a good one. Live each moment as though it were your last. It very well might be. Well done. God Bless, JB
