- Haiku X 54 - Nepal -

In faith, grace and love Power of wild bulls and lions Earthquake in Nepal Death quake in Nepal Villages totally destroyed Heartbreaking pictures Dead human bodies Disaster unknown level Earth continues shake They need clean water Under wings of an angel My Lord, why is this ? Caught in a drama Hoping to find survivors Screaming from the ruins In grief and despair They need shelter for the night Prayer for the dead 29.04.2015 A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

The millions of these suffering people of Nepal really needs shelter and prayer dear friend. Unfortunately the tragedy is not only the result of Earth's eternal forces ( colloids of two giant plates) but it is more the result of destructions’ created by men on Himalaya. If we do not stop that more such vast destructions would continue in future also. Thanks Anne for your kind comments on my poem on Nepal's Calamity. Love and best wishes...Ravindra K Kapoor

You possess a huge loving heart as your prayers for the people of Nepal show. When we all untie in prayer much is accomplished.

OH Sunshine...it is such a tragedy. I have very good Nepalese friends. They call me DIDI, big sister. It is such a devastating time for them. I'm glad ADRA...Adventist Development and Relief Agency, a branch of our church is bringing humanitarian aid to this part of the world. Hugs, My dear.

The poem uses unusual and somewhat depressing imagery to make a statement and is clever in its use. Emile.

You're right, Anne. It's nice to see someone's talent being used to rally for a cause. From where I am, there's a call to donate the most most basic one can give. They're being packed and will be sent by the gov't agency in-charge as well as some TV networks through their own foundations. Be blessed, my friend! Hugs! KIM :)
