Pondering

I think the top of the hill has been reached, And now I think our future is breached. God has allowed us to pick and choose, And for what we have chosen we will pay the dues. It’s not about the elections it’s about our daily choices, The rights and the wrongs and who’s behind those unseen voices. The moral issues that are devouring our land, And no one seems to care much less take a stand. The killing of unborn children really breaks my heart, What if that were you in that womb and not given your start? I’m not perfect and I know I have my flaws, But when I know the truth without a doubt, I’ll back that cause. Tell me how can it be right for man to lay with man or woman with woman? This goes against God’s rules and interferes with the Masters plan. He has given us the rope and our necks are in the noose, And He is the only one who can free us, help us get loose. Some people play life as if it were just a game and they get to make all the rules, These are the ones on judgment day will wish they hadn’t acted like fools. Common sense is a virtue that has seemed to have gone astray, Doing the unthinkable seems to be the norm these days.

Thank you for sharing your message of faith. I think that there are a lot of people that believe in traditional values but have gotten apathetic about a world view. People are starting to stand up against corruption. In that, there is hope. Keep the faith. Thank you for your kind words regarding my poem. Blessings to you. Karen

We can fight the abortion issue as I am pro life too, but the man definitely has a better perception of where this country was heading and a better understanding of the middle class needs. When I weighed the [pros and cons, I ended up voting for him, with his pro choice stand the only thing keeping me from casting it. Bush was killing our grown children on his own agenda. Vince
