Red Velvet
Red velvet curtains draped to the floor
Lilac eyes you can’t ignore
Snow-white skin shown through her dress
I must admit I wish to impress
All that night long, as I watched her dine
Her peach colored lips looked so divine
This would be the moment I would cherish
Holding her hand and, her face I would embellish
Dapper was I, with my tails and hat
I would whisk her off in the night like a cat
We would embrace our passion under the moons glare
As we lay together amongst her long black hair
I hoped there’d never be an end to our secret affair
But the morning was approaching, I feared
Red velvet curtains draped to the floor
I found her gold necklace hanging over the drawer
