The first day of October wakes so proud With golden flames on early morning cloud Was a solitary leaf, its glittering gleams Birds flown with all the summers dreams Spiderweb with drops full of dew Shorter days and cooler temperatures in blue Autumn so gorgeous and short, like a cheerful song The season of autumn in anticipation ~ so long 30.09.2015 A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

We are seeing some color now as well. The trees on cliffs were dry, and their leaves have turned color early. Cold will be here very quickly.
