dont like christmas images | hate Christmas, don't like Christmas, quotes about hating Christmas

"Jingle bell, jingle bell" ... here we go again "Driving Home For Christmas" ... with headache and pain "Last Christmas" ... I feel drowned in the deep sea "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" ... the truth of the story is the key "Happy Xmas" ... a contrast between your heart so cold "Rockin 'around The Christmas Tree" ... with your shoes of fake gold "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" ... I saw embraced in a brutal stranglehold "O Holy Night" ... surrounded by lies as told "White Christmas" ... while darkness descends uncontrolled "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" ... everything I loved is controlled "Sleigh Ride" ... some lack of desire, feeling fooled "All I Want For Christmas Is You" ... but it was the "king" who ruled _____________ "Blue Christmas" ... prepare a dinner for one 20.11.2018 Sun :) - A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

Hi Sunshine Smile, A sad but great poem. As for a blue Christmas, Pixie Dust's poem has Mrs. Santa coloring Santa's hair blue - so is blue the secret code to Christmas? Your rendition makes me sad, come spend Christmas with us! Hugs and kisses, Jennifer By the way, my favorite colour is blue!

This was entertaining, reminiscent of many comedy dialogues I saw as a child, and later. Can you bake an apple pie? NO Well, neither can I. I enjoyed this. CayCay

Quite a contrasting piece Anne-Lise, good use of the song titles making it really super. Yes Christmas can be a pain, buying things nobody wants!, Blessings & hugs, Gordon

There is no joy in the Christmas you describe, Sunshine, and the holiday probably seems this way to a grief-stricken person. That feeling of "drowning" as darkness descends is well conveyed throughout and your final two lines are a fitting conclusion. Best wishes in the contest, Hon. I always enjoy reading your work and this one is different, but certainly not an exception. I applaud you for taking a step into the dark side... Love, Carolyn
