Mathnawi Poetry - the Simple Smile
THE SIMPLE SMILE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The simple smile, many secrets it can hide. My love forlorn, not what your sweet smile implied Your kiss, ice cold as your lying smile foretold! Evoked a memory, 'smile through life be bold'! My Dad said, "Sweet smiles can fulfil many dreams". True, however evil and good ones it seems! I would like to think my smiles always speak truth I smile, with you, why? My love for you forsooth! Look beyond smiles, the miles I've walked, smiles wiped clean! Nature, her smile concealing pain, a lost dream. Smiles always hold secrets, beware a wolfs grin! You will hardly ever find a wolf that's thin! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mathnawi Poetry, for more information please follow the link: http://poetscollective.org/poetryforms/mathnawi/ #forlorn #forsooth #smile #grin
